The first thing that you should remember when using digital photography in ghost hunting is to be cautious and aware of the lighting that surrounds you at all times. This includes the sun, the light from the moon, and even street lights and lamps that are on vehicles.

You should face away from these sources of lights, or it may appear that you have photographed an anomaly that really is not there. You should also ensure that you avoid taking pictures towards items that can reflect your flash in digital photography.

It is also a good preparation to take at least two digital cameras, with one of cameras being a standard 35mm, because digital photography in ghost hunting has been discovered to lack reliability in many occasion.
