A brief history of alcohol making Alcohol's role in society

Making alcoholic beverages at home is nothing new. Something we've been doing since first wine was made in Cyprus. Scientists have found ancient artifacts and wine presses that confirm that first wine was made in Cyprus. Since than we've come a long way to further the making wine at home genre. To make wine at home, you don't need to be a rocket scientist or anything but understand simple science.

Alcohol is produced when sugar is combined with yeast. You need the right amount to create the right beverage. For example: To make beer, you use hops and barley as an additional substance. Beer was first brewed in Europe centuries ago and its now one of the most popular and beloved drink or our times. So bottom line, alcohol has been a part of the 'human' lifestyle whether we like t believe it or not.

It wasn't long that alcohol soon won over everywhere it was introduced. Literally exploding from central Europe to all the the Americas. Did you know that the far east had their own alcoholic beverages while Europe was just discovering wine? This healthy spread soon came to a halt especially in the Middle East after religious factions tried to ban it and prohibit and kind of consumption, creation or distribution.

Alcohol has helped literally all the developed countries of today to get where they are, financially speaking. If a government can control the sales and creation of alcohol, everybody wins as present day history has shown. Yes excessive use of alcohol can lead to not so favorable side effects but excessive use of anything can do that.

One thing is a give that alcohol and making alcohol at home are becoming more common as the days turn to months and the months turn to years. More and more people are becoming more educated and realizing that alcohol if controlled properly, can be a very good thing for people who are just trying to have fun and for the general economy.

So regardless, people have been making alcoholic beverages at home for a while and it is not going to stop any time soon. I say go on you brave soldiers, go on.
