5 Tips For Writing Articles

By Jason King

To make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed, here are five red hot tips to get your articles read. These article writing tips will make your articles readable and interesting. This will lead to your links getting more clicks, and you'll get more back links to your sites and blogs when your article gets used by more web masters. The web pages on your site or blog will benefit from these tips as well. They're not necessarily just for articles you'll distribute.

1) Keep your paragraphs short. When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader just looking at it, this makes it confusing, and can make reading the article hard work. The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to much easier reading articles that are good to look at as well as read. The length of a paragraph can be one or two sentences just to make a point.

2) Make use of numbers or bullets. Using bulleted or numbered lists you make each point stand out, and then it's easier to remember. A bullet or number lets the reader know where each tip starts, and this makes it stick in the readers head more. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your article won't look like a single block of square paragraphs. Add a little bit of flair and pizzazz to your articles shape.

3) Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page. Doing this will break each point into sections but still would be incorporated into one whole article. This also helps to connect each paragraph so the reader feels like their about to learn something new that connects to the last paragraph they read. You will never lose your readers attention as well as the point and direction to where the article is pointing.

4) Provide a good attention-grabbing title or header. You'll increase the amount of clicks on your article or web page if your title or headline has a benefit for them. Use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your articles content but should also be short and concise.

5) Keep them interested from the start to the finish. Use a language that can easily be understood, and doesn't try to sound too intelligent or confusing. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point, just don't over do it. Back up what you write with examples so you create a better picture in the readers mind. This makes your article more enjoyable to read, and will help hold the interest of the reader for longer.

Once you get your articles read more often, and distributed to more directories and blogs you will see the benefits of writing good articles. The speed of your success will increase, and and once this happens so will your bank balance.
